New Under 15 team
1st February 2012
Keelby United Under 15Keelby United is planning to enter a team in next season's under 15 division, which will compete in the Grimsby Intermediate League.

The first training session is penciled in for Saturday 3rd March, depending on numbers. The new team will train and play friendly matches until the start of the new league season.

Keelby United is running a campaign to get people into football, and has produced a leaflet to encourage footballers to join the club.

Keelby United has a new club badge. The new emblem is emblazoed  with a roaring Lion and is in Keelby's traditional colour of green.

The new badge will start appearing on all of Keelby's literature and could be on the team's shirts soon.

Respect FC

Respect FCAs a club Keelby United supports the FA's new team Respect F.C. You can too by signing up on their website. The more people who sign up, the more money the FA raise to help improve the game for our young players and rid the sport of the "Gobby Morons" who shout at the kids and referee.

Football Kick-off

In the new year Keelby United will be running an 6 week football course to encourage Primary aged Children to join the club. Details can be found on the kick-off webpage which can be found here.

Keelby United on the Internet has had  an impressive year in 2010 with record numbers of visitors viewing its site. World HitsJust like its teams the club's internet presence has gone from strength to strength in 2010. The site receives visits from interested web users from all over the world, and has an average of around 30 unique visitors per day, peaking at 216 visitors in one day in November.

UK VisitorsVisitors are mainly located in the UK and are mainly around Lincolnshire, though as you can see from this map, they also visit from further afield in Britain.

Being just under 15 Millionth might seem to be way down the list, but it is the highest rating local football club website in our area.

The Under 11s completed a fantastic double this season, completing the League and Cup double, by beating Clee Town Bass in the final at Blundell Park.

Snow causing fixture disruption

The wintry weather conditions has put paid to most football across the country since the Christmas break. Keelby United's teams are hoping to get back into the swing by playing this weekend. Rain and sleet are forecast for this weekend, but hopefully the conditions will be good for a successful restart to playing for our teams.

Fletcher strike seals first win for 2nds

Marathon Run
7th October 2009

Chicago MarathonOn Friday morning Neil Kenny and Terry Legard, two Keelby United coaches, will be flying out to Chicago in the USA to take part in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. In doing so they hope to raise funds for Keelby United.

The marathon takes place on Sunday 11th October, 7:30am. Neil and Terry are hoping to complete the gruelling 26.2 miles in around 3 hours and 30 minutes.

You can help Terry and Neil raise money by completing one of the sponsorship forms they have handed out in the last couple of weeks.

Keelby United support the FA's  Respect Campaign. The Respect Campaign is now in its second year and in that time has helped to make football an enjoyable experience, not only for the players in the game but also the supporters watching. Under 11s

In their first season as an 11-a-side team the Under 11s have made a great start of the season winning both of their opening games, scoring 12 goals in the process. Check the Under 11s team page for news.

 

Saturday Flying Start

Keelby United's Saturday team have made a flying start to the season with three wins in their first three games, which sees them with an early league table lead. Check the Saturday Team pages for more news.

Saturday Treble Win

Keelby's Saturday team completed the treble with an unbeaten season in the league and cleaning up in both cups last season.

 

Senior 2nd Team

For the upcoming season Keelby United will have two senior men's teams in the Grimsby Sunday League. The new team will kick-off their season in Division 8.

Under 13s Win Double
1st July 2009
The Keelby Girls Under 13 team won the league and cup double, winning their league and cup for the 3rd successive year.

 

Under 11s Win Double
1st July 2009Under 11 Squad

The Keelby boys Under 11 team won the league and cup double, beating Immingham Pilgrims 2-1 in the Gradely Cup final at Blundell Park on 24 May 2009.
